Agricultural and Historical Displays
On behalf of the Yorke Peninsula Field Days welcome to the Historic section and the Robert Bawden Museum.
This year presents the many changes in agriculture from early photos of trials in years gone by and the improvements and technology that has improved production and lifestyle of farming in Australia.
Organised by members of the Paskeville Agricultural Bureau attractions in the Robert Bawden Museum include early photos, cameras and other memorabilia; a Yellow Brick Road stop for children, large engines and tools of yesteryear.
On the Western end of the field days site will be the Vintage section of motors, trucks, ploughs, strippers, winnower, grain cleaner and many other interesting memorabilia. Miniature trains and a shed with many working models and a collection of model race cars made of wood.
Many patrons will come from all across South Australia to display their pride & passion. This year will be supported by the South Hummocks Agricultural Bureau, CCROME Club, Gawler Restoration, Clare Valley Model Engineers, Adelaide Hills Restoration, Commercial Motor Vehicles Club, Farm Shed National Trust Museum Kadina and Northern Automobile Restoration Club. Other special guests and miniature working models will also be featured.
Ross Story, Tumby Bay Clydesdales, will again be present at the field days giving the opportunity for patrons to take load of their feet and enjoy a ride around the site. Ross is proudly sponsored by Perks integrated business services and YP Field Days.
