Judging for the following awards will take place on the Tuesday of the event. All award winners will be notified later that day and invited to attend the award presentations ceremony on the Wednesday of the event at 10am in the Guest Speaker Pavilion.

BEST SITE AWARDS

Judges will assess all exhibitor sites to determine the winners of the 'Best Site Awards' in the following categories:

​

Section 1 - Best site award - Tractors and farm machinery

Section 2 - Best site award - General Merchandise (as used by the agricultural industry)

Section 3 - Best site award - General Interest

a) Best Outdoor site

b) Best Pavilion site

​

Judges for these awards will use the following criteria:

• Site presentation - overall planning, innovation and quality of displays, equipment and products)

• Clear recognition of site and staff (distinctive signs, clothing and information)

• Ease of access through exhibits and displays

• Site safety (trip hazards, electrical cables, etc)

• Compliance with YP Field Days policies, conditions and procedures.

BEST PRODUCT AWARDS

During the Yorke Peninsula Field Days, judges will also assess NOMINATED exhibitors to determine the winners in the following categories:

​

'Best Australian made machine award'

for tractors and farm machinery considered to be the most beneficial to the future of the rural agricultural industry.

​

'Best new release award'

for equipment or machinery considered to be the most beneficial to the rural agricultural industry in two categories:

​

Section 1 - Best new release - Broadacre machinery

Section 2 - Best new release - Open section (as used by the agricultural industry)
