Greens Plains Track

Discover all the family friends highlights of the Yorke Peninsula Field Days on the Children’s Trail “Greens Plains Track”.

Stopping at selected exhibitor sites children get to collect a goodie from each stop as well as enjoy the displays, attractions and activities stops have to offer. The Greens Plains Track exhibitor stops are made up of a great combination of exhibitors from general interest, agriculture and education.

The Greens Plains Track is suited for children under 12, however no age limit is enforced.

Ag Learning Centre

The Ag Learning Centre is all ready for children to explore the amazing world of Agriculture. Packed with fun and educational activities children will delight in the spending some quality time here. Various animals are in the Centre for the length of the Field Days. Who will your little one make a friend with this year.

Exhibitors

Our agricultural exhibitors will see children delighted in the sheer size of the tractors, machinery and equipment on display. A large range of exhibitors are also family friend with interactive displays, education elements and fun activities. There are often your favourite farm animals hidden in all corners of Exhibitors sites. Who might you get the opportunity to cuddle.  

Entertainment

The 2025 Filed Day will be held during the South Australia School holidays. An amazing program is in the planning which will see a variety of children’s entertainment take the stages. Your older Children hitting the Tween years will also enjoy the fashion parades or tractor pull and more occurring across three different stage areas. Check back closer to the date to plan which of the fabulous stage entertainment you will want to experience.

Displays and Demonstrations

Sheep dog trials, sheering demonstrations, cooking displays, fashion shows, drone demos, blacksmiths demonstrations, tractor pull, antique machinery and more will delight the young and have your day packed full of excitement and amazed little faces as you adventure around the Yorke Peninsula Field Days site.  

Free Play Zones

Rest the little one’s legs and let them have the opportunity for some open free play in our children’s areas located at various location across the Field Days. You will find sand pits, blackboards and more. These stops are free for all visitors.

Parenting Facilities and Services

A parenting facility is available with toilets and baby change facilities at the Field Days. This facility is proudly coordinated by the local Women’s and Children’s Hospital Auxiliary. Drinking water refill station will be available thanks to SA Water so you can keep filling up your water bottles with fresh free drinking water.
