Greens Plains Track

A Fun-Filled Adventure for Kids at the Yorke Peninsula Field Days.

Embark on a family-friendly journey along the Children’s Trail – Greens Plains Track, designed to delight kids and engage them with hands-on experiences across the Yorke Peninsula Field Days.

Children will visit selected exhibitor sites to collect fun goodies and enjoy a variety of displays, attractions, and activities. The trail features a vibrant mix of exhibitors from agriculture, education, and general interest.

Ideal for children under 12, however no age limit is enforced.

Ag Learning Centre

The Ag Learning Centre is all ready for children to explore the amazing world of Agriculture. Packed with fun and educational activities children will delight in spending some quality time here. Various animals are in the Centre for the length of the Field Days. Who will your little one make a friend with this year.

Exhibitors

Big Machines, Hands-On Fun & Friendly Faces!

Kids will be amazed by the huge tractors, machinery, and farming equipment on display throughout the Field Days. Many of our agricultural exhibitors are family-friendly, offering interactive displays, educational experiences, and plenty of fun activities.

Keep your eyes peeled—your favourite farm animals might be hiding in unexpected corners of the exhibitor sites. Who will you get the chance to cuddle this year?

Entertainment

The 2025 Field Days will take place during the South Australian school holidays, making it the perfect family day out! A fantastic program is currently in the works, featuring a wide range of children’s entertainment across three lively stage areas.

From energetic performances for the little ones to exciting attractions for tweens—like fashion parades, tractor pulls, and more—there’s something to keep everyone entertained.

Be sure to check back closer to the event to plan which of the fabulous stage shows and activities you won’t want to miss!

Displays and Demonstrations

Sheep dog trials, sheering demonstrations, cooking displays, fashion shows, drone demos, blacksmiths demonstrations, tractor pull, antique machinery and more will delight the young and have your day packed full of excitement and amazed little faces as you adventure around the Yorke Peninsula Field Days site.  

Free Play Zones

Rest the little one’s legs and let them have the opportunity for some open free play in our children’s areas located at various location across the Field Days. You will find sand pits, blackboards and more. These stops are free for all visitors.

Parenting Facilities and Services

A parenting facility is available with toilets and baby change facilities at the Field Days. This facility is proudly coordinated by the local Women’s and Children’s Hospital Auxiliary. Drinking water refill station will be available thanks to SA Water so you can keep filling up your water bottles with fresh free drinking water.

Yorke Peninsula Field Days is organised by 8 member Agricultural Bureaux. Including over 400 volunteers from local community organisations
